Request: A large and prestigious whiskey distillery in the United States commissioned us for two important projects. We had to set up a line of special projects, that is, a line of collector's whiskey bottles, miniature bottles and bottle formats for limited editions or for special events. In addition, conveyor and automated packaging solutions were to be included in their existing lines to increase productivity, reduce labor costs and eliminate manual operations.

Solution: Taking into account space constraints, we designed a bespoke bottling line allowing the customer to make format changes quickly. The equipment was chosen based on the flexibility of the line and the variety of bottle formats. For the second project we opted for a depalletizer, an accumulation table and at the end of the bottling line we completed with a `` pick and place '' type packaging solution that places the bottles in either boxes, crates or trays. Here again the flexibility of the equipment had to be an important selection criterion.
